And with those socks, my Personal Sock Club for 2011 is finished 
The stats:
6 pairs of adult socks
2 pairs of baby socks
1 pair of toddler socks
one pair of mittens
and a shawl.
2 skeins of yarn were re-homed or given away to allow for a month off (Wedding, november) and another ball that was full of knots, and I had to admit defeat.
All in all, a GREAT stashbusting exercise. I have plans for a similar thing for 2012!

These socks were a joy to knit. The yarn is squishy, soft, and yet somehow cool to the touch. A little fluffier than my usual yarn choice.
Yarn: Waikiwi sock yarn – possum, merino, alpaca nylon blend
Needles: 2.75mm circular needle (Addi turbo)
Pattern: made up.

Awful photo, thanks to the sky going dark at 3pm for a massive storm!
So glad these are done. I was a little over the glaring crazy neon by the end.

Seriously. There is bright, happy, cheerful sock yarn… and then there is this.
Sweet merciful crap.
Eyemeltingly bright.
But fun. Tadpoles pattern, again, quick and easy, and on one needle again.
