I goned and maded some socks!
These are SO very warm, and so very comfy.. made with thick hand dyed 10ply, they were a whizz to knit (well, a whizz, for me)
Pattern: Thuja. Well, clearly these dont have the seed stitch rib – but I just used the math from the pattern.
Sticks: 4mm KnitPro Nickel DPN’s
Yarn: Hand dyed blue variegated BWM Luxury 10ply. And, enough left over in the skein to whip up a beanie for my nephew (who is 9 months old today! Happy 3/4 birthday Brendon!)

We held another dyeing day in April! Lots of friends, fun, colour, and laughter. I didnt get to dye much of my prepared yarn (baby juggling, hostess duties) but did end up with some interesting results:
Need to take better pics.
I did an interesting experiment with overdyeing – i compared results in the same dyepot between Luxury Almond and Ghost (grey) – there was a definite difference, and I think the grey gives a wonderful warm, richer end result as a base yarn for blues and similar colours.

The amazing Teri has been at it again.. hand dyeing things that are IRRESISTABLE. These fell into my post box yesterday..
100g of Hand dyed Live 2 Knit Jane cotton
200g? of 12 ply BWM rustic.
Yep, more baby things planned. Soakers take up hardly any yarn, so the 12ply will make 2 or 3, depending on size/style.
