WIP: Raspberry Licorice

Also known as Another Damn Stripey Cardi, or Yep BWM Again.

A quick knit, for Tille to wear in Bendigo later this month. It’s a long sleeve one this time, pattern is the Baby Blueberry Cardigan, in Luxury 10ply in Ruby and Black.

Well here it is being modelled by it’s recipient, Brendon :) Too cute!!

These are SO very warm, and so very comfy.. made with thick hand dyed 10ply, they were a whizz to knit (well, a whizz, for me)

Pattern: Thuja. Well, clearly these dont have the seed stitch rib – but I just used the math from the pattern.

Sticks: 4mm KnitPro Nickel DPN’s

Yarn: Hand dyed blue variegated BWM Luxury 10ply. And, enough left over in the skein to whip up a beanie for my nephew (who is 9 months old today! Happy 3/4 birthday Brendon!)

Bindi’s Beret

A PURPLE beret for Bindi.

Clearly, that isn’t her.

I knitted this while in the car over the weekend. LOTS of driving over a long distance, helping friends move up to the hills (where all the cool kids are, of course.)

Pattern: Tuva Slouchy Beret

Yarn: Heirloom Bliss from the BWM back room.

Sticks: 4mm Addi Click

I am having surgery on my arm soon, so I am going gangbusters with lots of forbidden knitting/crafting before I have a cast/bandages preventing me from doing anything for a couple of months!

Utterly Butterly

Shhhhhh.. dont tell my dr! I have been doing some knitting. But slowly. Oh so slowly.

Pattern: Tiny Tea Leaves Cardigan By Madelinetosh

Sticks: 4 and 4.5mm Addi Click

Yarn:8ply BWM Cotton in Daffodil (lush!)

A great easy pattern, and a lovely soft yarn. Dont worry, some days I only manage one slow row. Other days I can manage a few. But it’s oh so satisfying :)
