  1. FO: Meret Deux

    This is IDENTICAL to my last meret. Same needle size, pattern, lace repeats, yarn.. all apart from the colourway. I have been wearing the ruby one almost daily, because it’s been so cold! I remembered what a wonderful and fast knit it was, so I managed to whip this up in a couple of days.. (ouch, says my arm :( )

    Sticks: 4.5mm Addi Click – with longer cable to Magic Loop the crown shaping.

    Pattern: Meret by Woolly Wormhead

    Yarn: BWM Luxury 10ply in Lake.

    As usual, this needed a seriously harsh blocking! I am looking forward to posting a pic of the ruby and lake ones side by side :)

    A super-fast knit.. and I still have MORE of this skein left! a pair of large socks, a beanie, and possibly something else (small) – what great value!

    Rib was 4mm, body was 4.5mm, and done in a day and a bit.

  4. FO: Thuja

    I goned and maded some socks!

    These are SO very warm, and so very comfy.. made with thick hand dyed 10ply, they were a whizz to knit (well, a whizz, for me)

    Pattern: Thuja. Well, clearly these dont have the seed stitch rib – but I just used the math from the pattern.

    Sticks: 4mm KnitPro Nickel DPN’s

    Yarn: Hand dyed blue variegated BWM Luxury 10ply. And, enough left over in the skein to whip up a beanie for my nephew (who is 9 months old today! Happy 3/4 birthday Brendon!)
