A Weekend Away

Sometimes.. it’s nice to escape..
What you dont see? The copious amount of relaxing, reading, knitting, eating, drinking..
Our fave cafe was still there, and still serving the most amazing brekkies to share..
A gorgeous walk around the CWA shop, pondering their jams, knitted goods, and had a lovely natter with the ladies knitting and beading the saturday away.
And a quick trip to the chocolate factory. Which I will admit has become a total tourist trap, and less of a joy. But I still managed to procure a MASSIVE amount of choc, mostly gifts. Yum yum!
What a brilliant weekend, and a totally wonderful way to spend what may be our last weekend kid-free before baby arrives!

Baby Snorgling

And Other Antics
The Rainbow Socks found some feet! Cute, tiny, 2 week old feets!
And I had to knit something quick and easy at SnB this week, so I whipped up a quick matching licorice hat.. nomnom!
We are off for the weekend, for some sun (and rain?) beach, relaxation, good food, and some time to reflect and prepare for our own bub’s arrival very soon.. I cant wait! For both!
And yes.. of course I am packing knitting to take.. isnt that a priority?
