I am imposing a self-exile on blogging for a few days! This week:
- We have exams. 2 on tuesday, 1 wednesday, and 1 thursday. And a huge research paper that I should have almost finished, and yet havent even started! Bad! Naughty!
- Have TWO very exciting things happening, that I STILL cant post about. But All will be revealed soon enough, I promise!
Being the queen of procrastination, i feel this is the only way I am going to get this paper done!
Never fear, evening knitting will still happen. It’s my way of unwinding before and after exams. (Geddit, unwinding? ha!)I am making excellent progress on Lark, and hope to be up to the hood by this evening.So, I will be back when things have quietened down! Wish me luck!

Birthday, Continued

I know, this is getting ridonkulous, isnt it? How many pressies can one girl get? The answer, LOTS AND LOTS.
Yesterday my final delivery from the Ravelry birthday swap arrived from Queensland, from the very clever and creative betsybookworm!
Inside was…
A skein of cascade 220!! Hand-dyed in a colourway named after meeeee! yeah baby! One of a kind! Some cute stitchmarkers, shiny adorable buttons, and a gorgeous tatted beaded brooch!

Massive Destash

If you are on Rav, then you will know that I had a HUGE yarn and fibre destash yesterday! This is partly in aid to raise funds for a certain something I can’t reveal just yet, and partly because I needed to get real, and realise that my fibre stash has to go. Yes, this includes the wheel. I *never* get to spin any more, and I doubt that will change anytime soon! So far I have raised a total of $782!! AMAZING! I still have some beautiful fibre available, so check out my destash page.
I am also delighted to report that the Loom is destined for it’s new home within the next couple of weeks. Also, my wheel will be going to visit it’s potential new home with Kelebek, next saturday!
A very quick visit to Spotlight was made this afternoon, to pick up some interfacing for $1.50 a metre, and a few zippers and cord. I have plans to make some zip-up bags and some project carriers, so stay tuned!
